The Tradition Continues

A studio favorite since its inception, DELVsgiving began as a way to connect us–to one another and to our community. Three years ago, we flipped the traditional ‘corporate charitable giving model (a big check from the formal entity) and instead handed each DELVer check to deliver to the cause of their choosing. That is, with one, single stipulation: come back and tell the entire team why they were compelled and how we could jump in to help.

Doing this really aligns with one of our core values–“see the field.” We are not just individuals operating in our own bubbles. Our impact has a ripple effect far beyond ourselves.”

Cara Weber, DELV Partner

As you might imagine, in a (dare we say unprecedented) year like 2020, we were even more eager to continue the tradition. Earlier this week, we gathered around our virtual table to share what these charities meant to us. Some were right here in our own backyards, while others on an entirely different continent. Some like Rise Up Woman International, PACE, and Project Lia were recently started by neighbors and friends, while others have been long-established. No matter their origin, each person was able to explain the history, mission, and most importantly–why it mattered to them.

And so it doesn’t stop with one lunch once a year, we want to share with you, too.  To learn more about each organization, click on the logos below.
