It’s this framework that allows wild ideas and practical constraints to be in the same room; this is the intersection where true creativity emerges. Design tenets provide a framework for our design practice that is democratic and aspirational. Through this, we ensure our work is steeped in meaning and integrity. We believe good design is empathetic, honest, beautiful, useful, and resilient.

Understand what is

In this initial phase, we’ll seek to understand current realities and unearth influences and motivations. We’ll work together to define the problem and articulate a vision to align around. By the end of this phase we come to agreement about both the current reality and desired future state.

Explore what could be

During this phase we start off by diverging, exploring a variety of possibilities. We then carefully begin to filter, disqualify options and create iterations. At the end, we converge, agreeing on a trajectory and path forward.

Implement what will be

With a course now charted, decisions on the specifics are determined and documented. Construction documents are developed to bring the vision and solutions outlined in the previous two phases to life.

I would do it again in a heartbeat. The guidance and direction that was given throughout the whole process was one that you felt at ease with. From an efficiency standpoint, from a creativity standpoint, I couldn’t have been more pleased.
