Anyone Chris works with is impressed by his sharp eye and mind. As an architect, he has the often-sought but seldom-found combination of both superb business and design talent. There is no process or establishment that is too sacred to be reexamined, redesigned, rethought. His endless drive to improve is impressive to watch, and contagious to work alongside. Chris fills and excels where needs arise, whether in leadership or collaboration.
Through the span of his career, Chris has led large and often complicated, innovative projects from concept to completion. He has an uncanny knack for making the complex manageable, and finding paths forward through even the most tangled of scenarios.
Chris holds firm that he always stops work when his kids ask him to play, an admirable tenant to hold oneself to. He claims to be a lousy speller, so we don’t let him edit the copy for our website, which is why this sentence will remain unnoticed. He and his wife Shawna, of whom Chris speaks tremendously, enjoy traveling with their two kids (last summer to the Grand Canyon), and also enjoy a glass of wine after the suitcases are unpacked back at home.
