“…she spends much of her time stepping on legos…”
At 5-years-old Cara’s career path was set. Once she discovered that art and buildings could be merged into one profession, she found her calling as an architect and didn’t look back.
Compelled by a strong connection to art, truth, and beauty — She’s driven to help people be understood, be authentic to themselves, and to create environments that speak to the worth of each human life, each human experience. Her strengths lie in the deciphering: she listens intently, synthesizes thoughtfully, and unravels efficient, effective, and resultantly beautiful designs. You may find Cara in the deep end, often, as she likes to jump into challenging and new project types. She’s slow to speak and quick to listen which helps her unearth compelling themes all the while earning the trust of a client.
Cara’s passion for design is matched only by her passion for her family. As the mother of two boys, she spends much of her time stepping on legos and helping them create their latest inventions. Her ideal day ends with her husband, a craft beer, and winning a game of Scrabble.
